Employment Coordinator Job Description

iTech US, Inc. is an award-winning custom software services and solutions development company. iTech is continuing to grow and has the need for an Employment Coordinator to support our Immigration Counsel, Compliance Team and HR Team at its headquarters in South Burlington, Vermont.


The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and support-related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of working with clients and employees. The Employment Coordinator must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while also remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.  A high level of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial to this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills, decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.

Employment Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Coordinate with HR Team to initiate and complete On Boarding and I-9 process for new hires.

 Compile spreadsheets and enter data into existing spreadsheets/databases to track project progress and deadlines.

 Collaborate with the Compliance Team on projects in the pipeline and coordinate with client and employees to get requirements in place for new and existing projects.

 Perform general administrative tasks including copying, scanning, maintaining records and preparing documents.

 Receive and distribute mail to appropriate parties.

 Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

 Provide research on specific topics.

 Contribute to establishing efficient team procedures.

 Work with Immigration Counsel and Compliance Team to respond to and follow up with applicants and government agencies in a timely manner.

 Help Immigration Counsel, Compliance Team and HR Team with other tasks and various projects on an as needed basis.

Employment Coordinator Job Requirements


 Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

 High degree of organizational and time management ability, with a knack for keeping projects and others on track.

 Excellent customer service with the ability to work with strong personalities.

 Willingness and enthusiasm to learn.

 We're looking for someone who has at least 2 years of office experience, but will hire the right person for the position regardless of years of experience.

 Prefer a candidate who has completed a Bachelors degree.

 This position also requires a fairly flexible schedule to work late, when needed, in order to meet filing deadlines and unexpected projects.
