Salesforce Technical Lead / Architect

Primary Location – Jackson, MS
Job Type: 6 Months Contract (60% onsite and 40% remote)
Terms: W2 

 

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Salesforce Technical Lead / Architect for our premier client in Jackson, MS. This is a 6-month contract position in the IT services industry. 

 

Description

THE JOB / Salesforce Technical Lead / Architect

The Technical Architect is responsible for the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of the solution. The Technical Architect works as a team member along with the Engagement Manager, Business Analyst, and Technical Leads to deliver the complete solution for the customer.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in cloud technologies and organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedules, and able to handle multiple priorities

 

THE WORK YOU WILL DO »

  • Co-team with the Solutions Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
  • Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
  • Complete / oversee the custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work
  • Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer
  • Manage multiple development designs and projects to meet project and customer required time lines
  • Provide customer training as required
  • Participate in internal projects as required

 

Qualifications

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE »

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with 4-5 years of Salesforce.com systems integration and/or implementation experience
  • Proven development consulting experience
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce.com configuration and custom development
  • Experience with other CRM software (Siebel, Clarify, PeopleSoft etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation, and load (ETL) tools
  • Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodologies

 

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES »

  • Should have hands-on expertise in some of the following technologies: Force.com, APEX, VisualForce, workflows, OBM, Integration / EAI technologies (i.e. Informatica, Jitterbit, etc.), SOAP, RESTful, and database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)
  • Thought leadership in emerging web design technologies, web design integration, prototyping, database driven content, and web-based user interfaces
  • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, and enterprise application architecture
  • Good knowledge and understanding of web service API’s for integration purposes
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in team oriented environments
  • Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs

 

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATES »

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field of study is preferred. SFDC certifications preferred: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, DEV, etc.
